Marketers have stratospheric space to maintain in social media channels. From Facebook content they need to play right, to conversations they have to follow and listen to on Twitter. Now its not a place for mass broadcasting, as Facebook acquisition assures that personalized and very targeted is the way to go. The importance that has been given to IM clients exceeds any assumptions in this regard, and marketing people should think differently to adapt to the fast changing world around them. Personal and human interaction is key and makes a big difference.
